A hidden audio recorder was found at the Harvard University Law School illegally recording student conversations according to the University Police.

The recorder was taped under a table in the student lounge and had recorded personal conversations. Some of the conversations captured were between students talking about an eviction from their home and recounting a sexual assault.

It is illegal to record any party without their consent in Massachusetts. In fact, all parties must consent to be audio recorded and secretly recording conversations is completely illegal. So, once again, you never know who or where you might be the target of an illegal audio bug or a recording device.
